Wizened Wood

As I looked at the many layers of details in this old branch, I wondered about the influences that created each unique furrow over time.

No doubt the harsh sun, wind and rain played their part. 

In this painting I chose background colours that represented the elements that gave birth to this visionful piece of wood… details that could take one on a big story-telling journey!
